Author Guidelines

JAPDI is a suitable platform for the publication of papers on Media business and Social Environment. Manuscripts reporting experimentation or research in community service will be accepted for review as papers.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

An acceptable manuscript will meet the following general criteria: it contributes significantly to the field, uses sound methodology that is explained in sufficient detail for replication by other researchers, and draws conclusions supported by data. The manuscript should be concise, well-written, and easy to understand.

Template

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT

Manuscripts should be uploaded to the JAPDI system and arranged in the following standard format: Title, Authors, Address and Email, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, and References. The manuscript should be typed on one side of A4-sized white paper, in a single column, with 1.5 line spacing, 12-point Cambria font, and should include line numbers. Margins on all four sides should be 2 cm.

- Title (Font: Capitalize Each Word, Cambria, Size 16)

- The title should reflect the issue and focus of community service, the subject of the project, actions and strategies, and the expected social changes.

- Abstract: The abstract should include the issue and focus of community service, the subject of the project, the purpose of community service, methods/approaches/strategies used in the research, and the results of the community service (maximum 150 words).

- Keywords: 3-6 words

INTRODUCTION (Cambria, size 13)

- The introduction should describe the situation analysis or objective conditions of the community service subject (assisted community), the issues and focus of the service, reasons for choosing the community service subject, and the expected social changes or goals, supported by qualitative and quantitative data. This section should be backed by relevant literature reviews. References should follow IEEE Style.

METHOD (Cambria, size 13)

- The method section should describe the joint community action planning process (community organizing), the subject, place, and location of the community service, the involvement of the subjects in the planning and organizing process, and the research methods or strategies used to achieve the expected goals and stages of the community service activities. The planning process and strategies/methods should be explained using flowcharts or diagrams.

- Figures must be numbered (e.g., Figure 1. Example Diagram). Image captions (number and title of images) should be placed at the bottom center.

RESULTS (Cambria, size 13)

- This section should describe the results of the community service process, including an explanation of the dynamics of the assistance process (activities carried out, forms of technical or program actions to solve community problems). It should also highlight the emergence of expected social changes, such as the creation of new institutions, changes in behavior, the emergence of local leaders, or the development of new awareness towards social transformation.

- Tables must be numbered (e.g., Table 1. Descriptive Statistics). The table description (table number and title) should be placed at the top center.


DISCUSSION (Cambria, size 13)

- The discussion should relate to the description of the community service process and theoretical discussion relevant to the findings. This section should discuss the theoretical implications of the service process from inception to the occurrence of social changes, supported by references and theoretical perspectives from relevant literature reviews. References should follow IEEE Style.

CONCLUSION (Cambria, size 13)

- The conclusion should provide a summary of the results of the community service in the form of theoretical reflections and recommendations.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (Cambria, size 13)

- This section should acknowledge individuals or institutions directly or indirectly involved in the success of the community service program activities.

- References should follow Turabian Style rules.
